What do you believe 2026 will bring?

A New Year is always more than resolutions that die before the end of January. Cynics think it is nothing special merely the continuance of life. Pessimists focus on the drama of ‘what if’s and the negative. Maybe even doom. And optimists believe that the future is going to be rosy. What category do you belong to as 2026, fresh faced and brand new, graces our lives.

There I have given myself away – with the word ‘grace’. I feel very positive about things to come but then as you know I strongly believe, neigh know from experience, we are creators of our life and our reality. You may strongly disagree. I respect that because I think whatever one believes is true for us will shape our life. There I have said it again, we create our reality. Absolutely no right or wrong, only outcome.

Well, that is me, but what does New Year mean in other beliefs and cultures? For the Chinese 2026 is the Year of the Horse beginning on February 17, 2026, not the 1st January, marking one of the most energetic cycles in the Chinese zodiac. Occurring once every 12 years — and as a Fire Horse only once every 60 years — this period is traditionally associated with fast movement, new energies, ambition, and social momentum.

If you are into astrology, these are said to be the 5 lucky zodiac signs in 2026, they will have their best year yet, Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces, and Leo. But although I respect astrology I believe all those born under the other signs are perfectly capable of creating their best year yet and not leaving it up to luck.

In numerology 2026 is a one year signifying new beginnings and new energies. A one year begins a nine-year cycle. But the most significant cosmic event of 2026 is that we meet a convergence of beginnings. It is not the beginning of a merely one cycle, it is the beginning of many cycles, all held within this year. Wow. Sounds good to me and I say “bring it on”. Change is much needed most will agree. And new beginnings although sometimes scary as we do like to dwell in our familiar, albeit often uncomfortable rut, is so needed to lift us up and beyond the present mire.

Many call it “Ascension”. Personal and collective spiritual growth and transformation. Which means reaching higher levels of consciousness, awareness, and vibration. This sounds really good to me for 2026. And again, I have to add my belief – its all up to us as aligned creators with The Creator – to just get on and make it happen. As the saying goes it is “All in our hands”, or perhaps more aptly – our hearts.

If you disagree and have your own belief and views, I respect that you are absolutely right. In Quantum terms there is no right or wrong and 2026 will be exactly as you expect it, or want it to be because it will be YOUR truth.
