Insomnia and EMF Radiation

Insomnia and EMF Radiation

We are in the midst of an insomnia epidemic the likes of which have never been know before in the history of mankind. Why? We live in a technological age and our bodies haven’t adapted to keep up with the technology we now use.

It isn’t only our sleep that we are tampering with by all the EMF exposure we are subjecting ourselves to – the whole spectrum of our health, mental and physical, is being affected. Of course some of the exposure is not our fault – neighbours will be sharing their Wi-Fi for starters. Oh I could go on, and on, and, on about how much unasked for EMF attacks our lives.

But back to sleep. How much do we really need? Well how long a piece of string is, we are all different. The National Sleep Foundation recommendation is 7 to 9 hours. The average night’s sleep, according to one of their polls is just six hours and 40 minutes.

Lack of sleep, Insomnia not only makes you feel lousy, lack energy, have head aches and brain fog it will affects hormone levels and accelerate aging, and may also play a role in diabetes, depression and cancer.

So how does EMF affect sleep? To sleep the body needs the hormone Melatonin. It’s produced by a small gland in the middle of your brain, the size of a pea, called the pineal gland. It is dark that activates it to produce melatonin which is released into the blood – and makes you sleep.

Melatonin levels stay elevated for about 12 hours usually between 9 pm and 9 am. When your day begins and your world gets lighter, and hopefully sunnier, your pineal gland stops working so the melatonin levels in your blood decrease until they’re hardly measurable at all.

Now EMF really messes with this beautifully engineered process because it fools the pineal gland into believing that it is eternally light. So the pineal stays switched off and you stay awake.

How do we know this? The research by the late Dr Neil Cherry Lincoln University, Canterbury, New Zealand, “EMF/EMR Reduces Melatonin in Animals and People” shows us clearly how this happens.

Whatever insomniacs do or whatever they take unless they look at their Electromagnetic exposure they will never get a good nights sleep. Some is pure common sense like switching of Wi-Fi when not in use. Or preferably using an Ethernet cable. Having as few electrical gadgets, appliances or equipment in the bedroom or nearby rooms as possible. SWITCH OFF YOUR CELLPHONE. Airplane mode will enable you to use the alarm. Oh and get rid of that electric alarm clock. Don’t have a cordless phone in the bedroom either, they give off as much radiation, or even, more than a cell.

Much, much more could and should be done to make equipment and appliance safer. Manufactures are slow in doing this, but as more and more law suits are being brought against them and won by people who have suffered major health problems because of EMF radiation from their products, it is now just a matter of time.

Until then protect yourself. There are some good, some bad and some indifferent protection products on the market. Do your research. If you want to see Life Energy Designs range of products which are backed by a 30 day money back guarantee look here…
